INGREDIENTS

Pumpkin cleaned and pealed – 1 cup

Garlic – 1 tsp. chopped

Onion – 1 tbs.

Saffron – 1 pinch

Salt – as per taste

Pepper – as per taste

White Butter – 2 tbs.

 

METHOD

Heat the pan and pour butter. Add chopped garlic and onions and sauté for two minutes. Add chopped pumpkin, half glass water, salt and pepper to taste. Allow to cook. Remove from fire and cool. Put it in mixer and make puree. Boil the puree. Add saffron. Boil for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot in a bowl, with a strand of saffron

It contains fatty acid which helps in maintaining strong hair. Infants can be massaged making a mixture of pumpkin puree, Gram flour, glycerin, honey, lemon juice to improve their skin texture.

Garlic:

Adding garlic in food avoids gastric problems. Consumption of roasted garlic increases appetite is beneficial for heart patients.

Saffron:

Neem juice mixed with saffron can cure Jaundice, Leprosy, cough, severe vomiting and throat infection. Leprosy can be cured by having saffron with goat milk.
