
INGREDIENTS
- Drumstick leaves 1 cup
- Wheat flour coarse 1.5 cup
- Turmeric – pinch
- Red chillipoweder – ½ tsp
- Ajwain (Carom seeds) – 1 tsp.
- Oil, 4 tsp.
- Curd – 2 tsp.
- Baking powder/edible soda – ½ tsp
- Water, salt as per requirement
- Sugar 1 tsp.
METHOD
Add turmeric, chilli powder, carom seeds, oil, curd, salt, sugar in the coarse wheat flour. Add drumstick leaves and baking powder and with the help of water knead the dough and make oblong balls. Put it in the cooker to steam (upto 3 whistles). Cut it into required size.
SEASONING:
- Oil – 2 tsp.
- Mustard – 1 tsp.
- Asafoteida – pinch
- Coriander leaves
Heat oil in a kadhaiadd mustard seeds till they splutter. Add asafoteida and steamed balls and garnish it with coriander leaves.
