Publication of "Num Vali Velanmai"

SEVA has promoted Num Vali Velanmai Network, regional node of the Honey Bee Network in Tamil Nadu. This Network has an informal association with more than 2101 members in Tamil Nadu since 1992. It publishes a quarterly journal in regional language (Tamil) called 'Num Vali Velanmai'. Num Vali Velanmai communicates information on indigenous agricultural technologies and grassroots innovations in Tamil Nadu.

SEVA is part of Honey bee Network and thereby interacts with members of different region, culture and language both at national and at global level. SEVA facilitates solving problems locally and strengthen this process through recognition, validation, cross fertilization, value addition leading to eco friendliness, efficiency, equity and empowerment.

Other Language collaborators of 'Num Vali Velanmai'

Honey Bee Network with the help of its regional collaborators, brings out six language versions of newsletters this helps to facilitate the cross-cultural exchange of knowledge and mutual learning among communities. These are: English (Honey Bee), Kannada (Hittalagida), Gujarati (Loksarvani), Hindi (Sujhbujh Aas Pass Ki), Bengali (Chayan), Pahari (Makhir), Punjabi (Khojbhal) and also Spanish (Abeja).
