INGREDIENTS

Pulp of ripe baelpatra fruit, 

Maize flour

Sugar

Organic jaggery

Cardamom powder

Ghee

 

METHOD

Sieve the pulp of the baelpatra fruit. Mix well ghee, sugar and organic jaggery. Add the sieved pulp and the required quantity of maize flour. Allow the mixture to cook on a low flame. Remove it in a flat Thali and allow it to cool. Cut bite size pieces

The fruit has the properties to avoid all stomach related problems, cleans the intestines, and allows better functioning of liver and kidneys. The fruit can be dried and made into powder which helps in controlling diabetes.
