Bringing up the hidden talent of the nation

Must Read

Culturally alive india is a noble initiative which began june 2009 as a part of summer project of students of SVNIT and is now moderated by Ms Arpita Kapoor, student of ABV-IIITM, Gwalior, under the guidance of Prof.Anil Kumar Gupta,IIM Ahmadabad and Coordinator, SRISTI and Honey Bee Network and, Executive Vice Chair, National Innovation Foundation.

The idea is creating a portal for cultural contributions (songs, stories, performances, art, etc.) by the local communities and individuals for part free listening or viewing.
After we manage to maintain a strong database of local street art, the downloads may be on the basis of ten cent per song. These amounts may go directly to the accounts of performers or local writers or artists.
As per our future prospects we plan to create employment for such street artist which would simultaneously keep India culturally alive and uplift them economically.

Such a venture can only be successful with the esteemed support of the community.
We thus request you to join us in larger and larger numbers as Artist scouts, participate in ongoing events and enjoy the country's art and talent.
Once you become an artist scout you associate with a dynamic project with a noble cause and we expect sincere inputs from your side. Please refrain from posting junk content, be it audio/video/pictures or on forums.
When ever you post, please be specific to the point that you add the contact of the artist and the content should be original. Remember we are promoting street art and talent so please refrain from posting videos/content from famous and established grounds or stages.

You just have to mail the content to us and we will upload it if we find it relevant and original to culture@sristi.org to start with and later you can be given privileges to upload content.

Also, with your gmail id's you can add yourself to sristi.culture@gmail.com and connect to all the artist scouts in the community and the admin of the project.
We seek your essential and valuable support and all the suggestions are welcome at culture@sristi.org

If you are an organization working for a similar or related cause and mission, you are most welcome to join hands with us and Let's together make a Culturally Alive India.
